This historic trail is over 4,900 miles long and spans sixteen states. This is historic not just because of the length of the trail but because it spans many tribal lands and is commonly associated with early American history. It’s named after Lewis and Clark, after all. The trail goes through Meade County, too, and there are many cultural retreats and opportunities for adventure.
