Meade County, Kentucky, always has something new for visitors and locals alike. Like any other, this year brings some amazing things to see and do. If you’ve been waiting all year for this, then we have some amazing news. Get ready for the Meade County Fair this July in Brandenburg.
What’s the Meade County Fair all about?
The Meade County Fair is a yearly event held during the summer where locals and visitors can meet up, enjoy fun experiences, and make memories. It is an event held by the fair association, and people wait eagerly each year for this amazing event.
The goal of the fair association is to make the fair a family event at an affordable price. In 2023, we know how rare that is. While every other place seems to hike its prices each month, the fair remains the go-to event for families to enjoy the pleasures and joys of small-town life at reasonable prices.
The Meade County fair is common to Brandenburg this July from the 22nd to the 29th. Mark your calendars and enter the various contests before the deadline passes.
What are the events this year?
Exciting new events are held each year, so no fair is the same as previous ones. This year, we have horse shows, antique tractor shows, a parade, community service activities, and various pageants and talent shows. That’s just in the first couple of days. There are rides and animal shows to excite the young ones and athletic events to wow the adults.
Since the fair is packed with people from all over, this is a prime opportunity for local businesses to enter and sell their products. People may come for community events, but they will definitely shop and buy souvenirs. Among the local festivals and fairs, the Meade County Fair is the THE place to be.
How much does it cost to get in?
Since the fair association ensures that entry is affordable for everyone, they have priced the entry fee at only $12. However, on Wednesday, the price is $11, including parking, rides, and events. There is also a Special Needs Day on the 25th of July that includes free rides, free lunch, free balloon animals, and face painting, among other activities for individuals with special needs.
