16 Years of Service to Meade County Schools

 Board Chair Dr. Bryan Honaker Honored for 16 Years of Service to Meade County Schools —

During the Month of December year 20022  Meade County Board of Education Meeting, Superintendent Dr. Mark Martin honored Board Member and Chair Dr. Bryan Honaker for all the time that he had spent a total of 16 years of service to the students, staff, and families of the Meade County School District and Meade County Locals. We are so thankful that Board Chair Dr. Bryan Honaker, would devote his life to the Meade County community.

Since becoming a vital role in player on the Board in 2007 to represent District 3, Dr. Honaker has made it his Goal to improving opportunities for all students in Meade County. His desire to challenge the district to create above the rim educational experience each day, maintain state-of-the-art facilities, and build relationships with students and families catapults far beyond the families he represents in his elected district.

His willingness to ensuring that each of our Meade County schools Have a strong curriculum in all core academic areas, as well as solid programs in gifted and talented, arts and humanities and practical living, and career and technical education or Meade County community will and shall benefit our for  many generations to come.

Dr. Honaker’s willingness to developing advancements in many fields for students can also be brought to front and center View through his commitment to student opportunities in athletics, clubs and organizations that the Meade County District offer as well as various other student opportunities. Meade County Schools is and has been a better school district 16 years later because of the impact of Dr. Bryan Honaker, Dr. Honaker’s term of service will expire on December 31, 2022.

Mrs. Sandy Smith will join the Meade County Board of Education to represent District 3 beginning January 1, 2023.
