We all have a favorite dish that we like to serve up during the holidays. For some, it’s a traditional recipe they’ve been preparing since they were kids. For others, it’s an updated, unique creation of their own. No matter what you’re serving up on Christmas Day, chances are there’s something in the world that goes well with it.
I don’t know about you, but when We think of Christmas, my mind immediately goes to the food.
We all love to eat, and it’s the one time of year when nearly everyone is willing to share in a table filled with delicious dishes. It’s hard not to feel joy at the sight of a beautifully decorated feast.
Over the years We Have enjoyed many different foods on Christmas day: roast goose and potatoes, ham, brisket…the list is endless. But there’s one dish that’s always been my favorite: turkey with stuffing baked inside.
We know it’s not traditional, but We never grew up with a real turkey on Christmas—my family preferred chicken or ham. But as an adult, We came across this amazing recipe and have been using it ever since. It’s easy to prepare and so delicious!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The smell of fresh-baked cookies fills the air, twinkling lights reflect off of freshly fallen snow, and festive music rings out from every home. Of course, there’s lots of other things to look forward to during the holiday season: family gatherings, gift exchanges, and that delicious Christmas dinner you’ve been dreaming about for weeks. But what exactly is Christmas dinner? Most people think about dining on turkey with some mashed potatoes and stuffing on the side—but is it really worth making a fuss over? Turkey can be dry, potatoes are boring as can be, and what’s so great about stuffing anyway? Well… think again. The next time you’re faced with choosing your Christmas dinner dish, make sure you choose wisely.
