Mrs. Jennifer Saylor Returns to Flaherty Elementary School

Meade County Locals:– Mrs. Jennifer Saylor Returns to Flaherty Elementary School as Principal –When the 2022-2023 School Year begins in the Fall, Mrs. Jennifer Saylor will return to the school where she Started her teaching career – this time as principal. Mrs. Saylor has been selected by the FES SBDM Council to serve as principal of the elementary school representing the Flaherty, Muldraugh, and West Point communities.During her extensive 25 years of experience in Meade County Schools, Mrs. Saylor has served in multiple roles. She made way in her career at Flaherty Elementary as a special education teacher. She then moved on to Stuart Pepper Middle School where she served as a teacher, department head, and assistant principal. Mrs. Saylor has partnered with students, families, and co-workers during her 16 years of administrative experience at Stuart Pepper Middle School. “Mrs. Saylor’s educational journey has positioned her well for this Advancement Jennifer has positively influenced much success at Stuart Pepper Middle School for the past 22 years,” commented Dr. Mark Martin, Superintendent of Schools. “Her student-centered approach, work ethic, supportive demeanor, and comprehensive leadership experience positions FES for continued success in the future. Jennifer Saylor is invested in this school community and will work hard each day to ensure that FES continues to be a special place for fun and learning”.Mrs. Saylor takes over the helm of Flaherty Elementary School from Mrs. Kellianne Wilson, who has served as interim principal during the COVID-19 pandemic. Mrs. Saylor begins her role as principal on July 1st 2022
