Residents in our community of Meade County Brandenburg Kentucky are feeling stressed and frustrated due to the ongoing issues with trash pickup. For the past two weeks, trash has not been collected on time, causing a buildup of waste and attracting pests.
The late trash pickup is not only a nuisance, but it also poses health and safety risks. With each passing day, the piles of trash grow, leading to an unpleasant living environment and potential dangers such as fires.
We understand the people of Meade County know that delays can happen due to unforeseen circumstances, but two weeks is far too long to go without proper trash removal. We urge the responsible parties to take immediate action to resolve this issue and restore the regular trash pickup schedule.
We also encourage our fellow community, Meade County Locals to voice their concerns and share their experiences with the late trash pickup. By speaking out in a civil matter, we can bring attention to this pressing issue and work towards finding a solution.
We hope that this matter will be promptly addressed and that our community / Meade County can return to a clean and safe environment.

We understand the past few weeks the garbage collection has been a real problem to say the least. Republic has started with the residential pickup this morning. Due to the heavy volume their collection may take an extra day. It is also possible they may not get the entirety of your trash today. With your help and cooperation we will get this taken care of. In addition there is a blue Republic dumpster behind city hall available to any one who would prefer to dispose of their trash. The City of Brandenburg will begin recycle pickup tomorrow.
On behalf of everyone with the City of Brandenburg, thank you for your continued patience and cooperation.
