Fort Knox, Kentucky — Volunteers from the greater Fort Knox community have been invited to participate in the annual Wreaths Across America wreath laying ceremony at Fort Knox’s Post Cemetery on Dec. 17, starting at noon.
Commander of Army Reserve Aviation Command Brig. Gen. Roger Deon Jr. shall be the host of the ceremony and deliver remarks. Afterward, attendees will be invited to place about 850 wreaths, courtesy of Wreaths Across America, on the graves of those interred in the cemetery.
Attendees are being asked to arrive early due to parking and site access considerations and should plan to park in the Lindsey Golf Course parking lot, located just inside the Chaffee (Main) Gate at the first traffic light.

Lindsey is open to the public seven days a week, offering a relaxing atmosphere and ambience for a range of special events including charity and corporate group outings or a private, retirement or promotion party. The course has a golf shop with a wide array of golf equipment, apparel, and gifts. We also offer private or group golf lessons. The golf course is open year round offering individual, family, and corporate memberships.
They can then walk to the cemetery. Volunteers will be on hand to tell people where to go.
Those without a visitor pass are encouraged to either go to the post’s Visitor Center before the day of to obtain an annual pass or visit the Fort Knox website HERE to get a 5-day fast pass.
